As a performer, Dean has had the opportunity to play in many of NYC’s legendary venues including, CBGB’s, Kenny’s Castaways, The Bitter End, the Red Lion, The Continental, The Sidewalk Cafe, Arlene’s Grocery, The Living Room, and Rockwood.  He has also toured around the US as well as Ireland, Italy, New Zealand and Australia

His past creative collaborations include performing and recording with The Twenty % Tippers , Andy If, Alan Bennett , The Tuscan Duo and Jayah, John Plenge and the Tone Factory, Allen Gogarty, The Devyl Nellys, Justin Robert James and The Travellers  He was the bassist for the Manhattan College Jazz Big Band from 1992 to 2002. More recently he has collaborated with singer/songwriters Rashmi Singh and Aja Reyes’ Domina Project in live performance, arranging and recording of their original material.

Since 2009, he has been bassist for the live band karaoke group, Rock Star Karaoke NYC performing in various clubs around the NYC area including corporate events and private parties.

He was the co-founder and promoter for the musical variety show, Rue 7 Social Club that ran monthly from 2011 to 2014 in New York City’s East Village which featured a variety of singer / songwriters, instrumental musicians, comedic musical acts and dance artist.
